Placements24 is seeking a Graduate Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team in a fully remote role across South Africa. You will support recruitment, onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and employee inquiries, while gaining exposure to a wide range of HR functions.

Ideal candidates hold a degree or diploma in HR or related fields, possess excellent communication skills, and can work independently within a remote team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in HR, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HRIS software is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment processes: posting ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding and offboarding for new and departing employees.
• Maintain employee records in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Assist in organizing HR events and training sessions.
• Help administer employee benefits and payroll-related tasks.
• Support development and implementation of HR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
