Placements24 is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Technician to join our remote team, delivering software, OS, and LMS support to clients nationwide with a focal hub in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will diagnose issues, guide users, and document resolutions to ensure smooth learning platform access.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Windows/macOS, ticketing software, and excellent communication. This role offers fully remote work, competitive pay, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
Ability to support software applications and operating systems.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and cloud-based tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for software applications, operating systems, and user accounts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform access, functionality, and performance.
Respond to helpdesk tickets via email, phone, and chat in a timely and efficient manner.
Guide users through problem-solving processes and provide clear instructions.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT teams.
Document support interactions, solutions, and user feedback in the ticketing system.
Assist in testing and deployment of software updates and new features.
Maintain and update knowledge base articles and user guides.
Monitor system health and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
