Placements24 is seeking a visionary Head of Digital Marketing & E-commerce to drive online presence and revenue growth. This remote leadership role in Cape Town empowers you to architect and execute a cutting-edge digital commerce roadmap.

You will develop and implement strategies across SEO, SEM, social media, email, and content, lead budgets, collaborate with IT, sales, and product teams, and build a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive digital marketing and e-commerce experience.
• Experience in FMCG sectors is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record launching and scaling ecommerce ventures.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic digital marketing and e-commerce strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee management and optimization of all e-commerce platforms for seamless UX and conversions.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention via SEO, SEM, social, email and content marketing.
• Manage and analyze campaign performance with KPIs and data-driven insights.
• Lead online promotions, loyalty programs, and partnerships.
• Stay ahead of digital trends, technologies and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with IT, sales, product teams and external agencies.
• Manage the digital marketing budget and maximize ROI.
• Foster continuous learning and innovation within the team.
