Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Head of Catering to lead remote catering operations servicing Stellenbosch and beyond. You will shape the strategy, drive innovation, and ensure operational excellence with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

You will oversee menu engineering, procurement, production and service delivery, mentor a dispersed team, manage budgets and KPIs, and partner with clients and suppliers to sustain growth in a fully remote capacity.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior catering leadership experience, preferably with remote team oversight.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and financial management in the food service industry.
• Deep understanding of culinary trends, food safety standards, and operational best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive change and innovation within a remote operational framework.
• Relevant degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive catering strategy to drive growth and market leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu engineering, procurement, production, and service delivery.
