Placements24 is seeking a visionary remote Director of Business Development in South Africa to spearhead growth from anywhere in the country. You will identify opportunities, forge partnerships, and drive revenue with leadership of virtual teams.

The role requires 10+ years in BD or related fields, a proven ability to close large deals, and strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills. Remote leadership and occasional travel are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• MBA preferred for advanced leadership and strategy.
• 10+ years in business development, sales or partnerships.
• Proven ability to close large, complex deals.
• Strong networking, negotiation and communication skills.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Self-motivated, remote-working mindset.
• Experience leading remote teams and travel when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and pursue new opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to hit revenue targets.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and influencers.
• Lead negotiations and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
• Conduct market research and analyze competition for opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and product teams to align strategies.
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for prospects.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and BD best practices.
• Lead remote teams and foster productive virtual collaboration.
