Placements24 invites a Remote Geotechnical Engineer to join a globally recognized engineering consultancy. You will assess soil conditions, design foundations, and provide expert geotechnical advice for international and domestic projects from a home office in South Africa.

With 7+ years of hands-on geotechnical experience, you will work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate with remote interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to international

Competenze

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
Pr Eng registration or eligibility with ECSA is required or eligible.

Mansioni

Conduct thorough geotechnical investigations including site assessments and laboratory testing analyses.
Develop detailed geotechnical reports with recommendations for foundation design, slope stability and earthworks.
Design and analyze shallow and deep foundations for diverse structures.
Utilize geotechnical software for modeling and simulation.
Provide expert technical guidance to project teams and clients on geotechnical aspects.
Review geological data and integrate it into design processes.
Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams across locations.
Ensure compliance with geotechnical codes, standards and best practices.
Assist in tender preparation and proposal development for new projects.
Manage multiple geotechnical assignments with timely delivery and quality outputs.
