Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Geology or related Earth Science.
- 8+ years in exploration geology within oil & gas.
- Proficiency with Petrel, Kingdom Suite, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Analyze seismic, well log, and core data to interpret subsurface geology and identify potential hydrocarbon traps.
- Develop and refine detailed 3D geological models for exploration and appraisal projects.
- Perform basin analysis and regional studies to assess prospectivity and define play concepts.
- Collaborate remotely with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and management to de-risk prospects and support drilling decisions.
- Prepare technical presentations and reports on geological findings and exploration recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geological interpretation techniques and software.
