Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Exploration Geologist to join our globally distributed team, supporting exploration from a home office with a focus on data analysis and remote sensing.

You will use GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and geological modeling tools to interpret complex datasets, generate exploration targets, develop conceptual and 3D models, and prepare detailed technical reports for remote project reviews. Strong independence and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related Earth Science.
• Minimum 5 years in mineral exploration with data-analysis focus.
• Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS) and geological modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geological datasets including geochemical assays, geophysical surveys, and remote sensing data.
• Use GIS and geological modeling tools to interpret data and identify exploration targets.
• Collaborate virtually with field geologists and project managers to refine exploration plans.
• Develop conceptual and 3D geological models from integrated data.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and summaries for remote project reviews.
• Stay updated on exploration technologies applicable to remote work.
