Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Fundraising and Development Officer to drive donor relationships and secure essential funding for a respected international charity. This fully remote role focuses on grants, major gifts, and targeted outreach with cross-functional collaboration across marketing and program teams.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years in fundraising, proven grant success, and strong proposal writing and communication skills to grow donor engagement globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fundraising, Marketing, Business Administration, Philanthropy, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans to achieve annual revenue goals across individual giving, corporate partnerships, and grants.
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donor prospects and build long-term relationships.
• Write grant proposals and reports for foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Nurture donor relationships through personalized communication and stewardship activities.
• Organize fundraising events (virtual and potentially in-person) to engage donors and raise funds.
• Maintain donor records in the CRM database with data integrity and segmentation.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop fundraising materials, appeals, and campaigns.
• Research funding sources and identify new opportunities for partnerships and grants.
• Track progress and report to senior management.
• Stay informed about fundraising best practices in non-profit sector.
