Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CA(SA) or CPA qualification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in forensic accounting or fraud investigation.
• Strong data analysis and knowledge of accounting software.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity and discretion in handling investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into financial fraud, misconduct and asset misappropriation.
• Analyze complex financial data, records and transaction trails for anomalies.
• Prepare detailed forensic reports with findings and methodologies.
• Quantify losses and damages from fraudulent activities.
• Support litigation with discovery and expert testimony as needed.
• Collaborate with clients and law enforcement during investigations.
• Develop internal controls and fraud prevention recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics throughout investigations.
• Use forensic software and data-analysis tools.
• Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and techniques.
