About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing food service consultancy seeking an experienced and highly analytical Remote Food & Beverage Operations Specialist. This is a fully remote (Yes ) position requiring you to leverage your expertise in operational efficiency, supply chain management, and quality control within the food and beverage sector. You will be instrumental in assessing current operational procedures for various clients, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategic solutions to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role demands a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex operational data into actionable recommendations. You will work closely with clients remotely to implement best practices and drive significant operational enhancements from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing food and beverage operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement optimized operational workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for clients.
• Evaluate supply chain management, vendor relations, and inventory control systems to recommend cost-saving measures and efficiency gains.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000) and quality control standards.
• Provide remote training and guidance to client teams on implementing new operational strategies and systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and projected outcomes for clients.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Food Science, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in food and beverage operations, supply chain management, or quality assurance, preferably in a consultancy or multi-site environment.
• Proven track record of successfully improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in the food service industry.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients remotely.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and MS Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work autonomously in a remote setting.
