Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead FMCG operations from a remote setting. You will drive production, supply chain, and logistics across locations, including Vereeniging, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

You will manage cross-functional teams, implement KPIs, and foster continuous improvement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, FMCG.
• Experience leading large remote teams and managing complex processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee daily operations including production, warehousing, and logistics.
• Manage and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track operational success across locations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices remotely.
