Placements24 is seeking an highly organized Operations Manager to oversee logistics and supply chain for FMCG products in Rustenburg. You will drive inventory control, warehouse optimization, and on-time distribution, leading a dedicated operations team in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a hybrid on-site/off-site work model, requiring strong leadership, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to improving processes and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management.
• Proven track record in warehouse operations, inventory control and distribution.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics.
• Experience with WMS and ERP software.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop strategies to optimize supply chain, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, quality standards, and company policies in warehouse and distribution.
• Lead and train the operations team, fostering a productive and safe environment.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for deviations.
