Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Operations Analyst to join a leading FMCG logistics team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks, and supporting strategic decisions to improve delivery times and reduce costs across South Africa.

You will develop KPI dashboards, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field such as OR, IOE, SCM or data analytics.
• 2–4 years of operations, logistics or supply chain analysis experience.
• Strong numerical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational and logistical data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
• Develop KPI dashboards to monitor logistics health and efficiency.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and propose data-backed improvements.
• Support planning and execution of logistics strategies including route optimization.
• Create reports and presentations for management and cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on FMCG logistics best practices and tech trends.
