Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a key FMCG facility in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee production planning, warehousing, and distribution, drive efficiency, quality, and cost control, and manage larger teams.

You will implement lean manufacturing, manage suppliers, and use ERP analytics to optimize performance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within FMCG or food production.
• Strong track record in leading large teams and optimizing processes.
• Lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management for FMCG products.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost efficiency, cut costs, and raise productivity.
