Placements24 is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing and supply chain activities in Rustenburg, guiding production planning, inventory, logistics and warehouse management to ensure cost-efficient and timely FMCG operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, mentor a diverse team, and enforce quality and safety standards while collaborating with sales and procurement to align capabilities with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proven experience in an Operations Manager role in FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics and inventory systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Familiarity with quality control and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning, inventory control, logistics and warehouse management.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality.
• Lead and develop the operations team and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with sales and procurement to align operations with business needs.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to meet targets.
