Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our client’s FMCG operations in a fully remote capacity. You will oversee procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness across a fast-moving sector.

You will develop and implement supply chain strategies, leverage data analytics, and collaborate with global teams to optimize performance, service levels, and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record in optimizing supply chain operations and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, suitable for a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, production) to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock.
