Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join the team in Nelspruit (Mpumalanga). This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, optimizing processes, and delivering actionable insights to improve operational performance.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in analytics and strong skills with Excel, SQL, and BI tools, enabling effective reporting on inventory, transportation and warehousing data to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in logistics analytics or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent reporting and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data on logistics and supply chain performance.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs and present findings to management.
• Assist in forecasting demand and planning inventory levels to optimize stock availability.
