Placements24 is seeking an organized FMCG Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize the flow of goods. This role supports remote work while coordinating transportation, tracking shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy across supplier, distribution, and customer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of logistics coordination experience in FMCG, with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in TMS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a logistics certificate/degree is a plus.
• 2–4 years of FMCG logistics coordination experience.
• Proficiency in logistics software, TMS, and inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote work.
• Problem-solving aptitude and proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound transportation of goods, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timeliness.
• Track shipments in real-time and proactively communicate any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring alignment between physical stock and system data.
• Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to resolve logistical problems and optimize delivery routes.
• Process shipping documentation, invoices, and customs forms as required.
• Identify opportunities for improving logistical efficiency and reducing transportation costs.
