Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee extensive FMCG operations in a fully remote role, driving efficiency, cost reductions and on-time delivery across nationwide markets. You will lead procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management to optimize stock levels and lead times.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in FMCG supply chain leadership, proficiency in ERP systems and planning software, and strong analytical, negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant focus on FMCG.
• Proven expertise in inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics planning, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage an efficient and cost-effective end-to-end supply chain strategy for FMCG operations.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize lead times.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure reliable and timely delivery of goods.
• Implement and utilize advanced supply chain planning and execution systems, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for enhancement, ensuring resilience and agility in operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards within the supply chain for FMCG products.
