Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator for our fully remote operations team in the FMCG sector. You will manage daily logistics, coordinate with carriers, and optimize routes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.

The role emphasizes accuracy in records, strong communication with suppliers and internal departments, and identifying improvements to streamline the supply chain in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating logistics and transportation across multiple shipments.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office; experience with TMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all transportation aspects, including carrier selection, booking, and tracking shipments.
• Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs and ensure timely FMCG deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and delivery status in the system.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and internal teams about shipment status and issues.
• Process shipping documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements within logistics functions.
