Placements24 is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist to drive online sales and brand visibility from anywhere in South Africa. This remote role focuses on campaigns across social, search, email, and display, with emphasis on ecommerce performance and conversion optimization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and at least 3 years in digital marketing for FMCG or similar industries, plus strong analytics and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on e-commerce and FMCG.
• Proven experience managing SEO, SEM/PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management platforms, and email marketing software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, search, email, and display.
• Optimize website content and user experience for SEO and conversions.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns and social media advertising, monitoring budgets and metrics.
• Create engaging content for digital channels including social posts, blogs, and newsletters.
• Analyze website traffic and campaign performance to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and execute email marketing strategies to nurture leads and drive loyalty.
• Collaborate with the ecommerce team to ensure a seamless online journey.
• Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and best practices.
• Manage social media communities, respond to comments, and foster engagement.
• Prepare regular ROI reports to stakeholders.
