Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Fleet Logistics Manager to lead our client's operations from a remote capacity in South Africa. You will oversee the entire fleet, including procurement, maintenance, compliance, and performance optimization, while developing policies and managing budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fleet management, leadership of remote teams, and the ability to drive cost efficiencies through data-driven decisions and technology-enabled

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fleet management and logistics, with leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, and TMS.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience leading remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for fleet operations, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Manage fleet compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee fleet efficiency with tech/processes to optimize routes and fuel use.
