Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead remote-first digital transformation initiatives. You will drive end-to-end project lifecycles, align with business and tech goals, and manage distributed teams across time zones.

The role requires 8+ years in project management, hands-on Agile experience, and a strong track record delivering large digital projects. PMP/CSM/SAFe desirable. Remote work with flexible hours and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong focus on digital transformation and technology implementation.
• Proven experience managing digital projects with budgets exceeding R60 million.
• PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex digital transformation projects from inception to completion.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage and motivate geographically dispersed project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive remote work environment.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, team members, and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stringent quality and performance standards.
• Oversee vendor selection and management for digital solutions and services.
• Implement and champion Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative development and delivery.
• Drive change management initiatives to ensure user adoption and successful integration of new digital capabilities.
• Conduct post-project reviews and identify lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes.
