Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or Economics.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, focused on financial analytics or modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Strong SQL and big data experience (Spark, Hadoop).
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling and ML in finance.

Responsibilities

• Develop statistical models and ML algorithms for financial forecasting, risk assessment, and anomaly detection.
• Process and analyze large, complex financial datasets from varied sources.
• Design and run A/B tests to evaluate model performance and impact.
• Translate business problems into data science solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
