Placements24 is seeking a talented Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights for financial services. The role is fully remote, collaborating with stakeholders to collect, clean, and analyze data, and to build dashboards.

You will use SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and statistical tools (R, Python) to forecast trends and support strategic decisions. Requires a Bachelor's in a quantitative field and 2+ years of experience in data analysis within finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within financial services.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and statistical software (R, Python).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Create statistical models and perform predictive analytics to forecast trends and outcomes.
• Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
