Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Financial Modeling to join a fully remote team. You will leverage advanced statistical techniques and ML to build robust financial models driving key business decisions, risk assessment, and analytics.

You will collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and engineers to productionize models and communicate complex findings to stakeholders. A PhD or Master’s in a quantitative field is preferred, with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in a quantitative field (Statistics, CS, Math, Physics, Finance).
• 5+ years as a Data Scientist with emphasis on financial modeling.
• Proficient in Python or R and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with large-scale data manipulation and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong grasp of financial markets, risk management, and independent remote work.
