Placements24 seeks a talented Financial Analyst to join its remote finance team, supporting operations in East London and beyond. You will develop financial models, forecast performance, and deliver strategic insights to assist major business decisions in a virtual environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and corporate finance, with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and historical trends, providing variance analysis and insights.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Support the budgeting process by coordinating with various departments and consolidating financial data.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Identify KPIs and track business performance against these metrics.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions.
