Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a sharp Financial Analyst to join their expanding team. This fully remote role supports operations across regions with a Kimberley focus, delivering robust financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and model development to drive performance.

You will prepare reports for senior management, analyze variances, and assist in evaluating investments and business cases. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in financial analysis, strong Excel skills, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA.
• Experience with financial modeling software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
• Analyze performance against budgets and forecasts; identify variances and trends.
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis as needed.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and business cases.
