Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a sharp and analytical Financial Analyst to join their remote team supporting operations across Port Elizabeth and beyond. You will build financial models, forecast performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations for planning and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of financial analysis experience, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros), and solid communication to present insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 2–4 years of financial analysis or corporate finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations with KPIs and financial metrics for senior management.
• Support annual budgeting process and variance analysis.
• Evaluate new business initiatives and strategic projects financially.
• Collaborate with departments to gather data and provide analytical support.
