Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join a remote finance team. You will deliver in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decisions and drive profitability across departments.

You will build complex models, perform variance analysis, prepare executive reports, and evaluate new opportunities. Strong Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills, plus 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/accounting; MBA/CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Conduct variance analysis of financial results and identify key drivers.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management with insights and recommendations.
• Evaluate financial performance of new opportunities, investments, and projects.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand financial needs and provide analytical support.
