Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management, 5+ years in financial services.
• Experience with digital transformation, regulatory compliance, or system upgrades in finance.
• Strong knowledge of FICA/POPIA and financial products.
• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; strong remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for financial services initiatives, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and compliance officers.
• Oversee execution ensuring deliverables meet quality, time, and budget.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues with mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate clear communication with stakeholders including senior management and partners.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards throughout projects.
• Drive adoption of new processes and technologies resulting from implementations.
