Qualifications

• Proven experience in fiber optic network installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Experience with splicing techniques (fusion and mechanical).
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail in remote settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan fiber optic network layouts, including conduit routes and termination points.
• Install, test, and commission fiber optic cables and equipment.
• Perform fusion and mechanical splicing with high precision.
• Use OTDR and testing equipment to diagnose faults and measure performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure.
• Document configurations, test results, and maintenance activities.
