Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Fiber Optic Network Planner for a fully remote position. You will design routes, perform feasibility studies, and prepare documentation to support deployment across multiple regions.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Engineering or Geomatics, 5+ years of fiber planning experience, and proficiency with ArcGIS and CAD tools. The role emphasizes collaboration with teams, vendors, and authorities while maintaining accurate GIS data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Geomatics, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of fiber optic network planning and design experience.
• Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS) and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic cable characteristics and network topology.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for fiber optic network deployments, including route planning and splicing diagrams.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to identify optimal network pathways.
• Prepare project documentation, including cost estimates, material lists, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and local authorities for smooth project execution.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and GIS data.
