Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Event Logistics Coordinator to oversee virtual and hybrid events from a remote-based hub. You will coordinate platforms, speakers, and technical support while liaising with AV and platform providers to ensure timely delivery.

The role focuses on remote execution with on-site support as needed, requiring strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent vendor communication to deliver seamless event experiences for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event logistics or coordination for virtual or hybrid events.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Strong vendor communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all logistics for virtual and hybrid events, including platform setup, speaker coordination, and technical support liaison.
• Liaise with external vendors (e.g., AV, virtual platform providers, event suppliers) to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Develop and maintain detailed event schedules , run sheets, and critical path timelines.
• Manage event inventory, shipping, and returns for any physical components required for hybrid events.
• Provide real-time support during events, responding promptly to logistical issues and facilitating resolutions.
