Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Virtual Event Coordinator to manage engaging online events for the hospitality and tourism sector. This fully remote role requires sharp attention to detail and a passion for seamless digital experiences that captivate attendees.

You will coordinate all aspects of virtual events—from platform selection and technical setup to content management and attendee engagement—delivering polished experiences for speakers, sponsors, and participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in event coordination with virtual events.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Hopin, and Cvent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and execution of all virtual events, including webinars, online conferences, and virtual trade shows for the tourism industry.
• Manage virtual event platforms, ensuring smooth technical operations, registration processes, and attendee support.
• Liaise with speakers, presenters, and sponsors to gather content, confirm schedules, and ensure their technical readiness for virtual presentations.
• Develop engaging content for virtual events, including presentations, polls, Q&A sessions, and interactive elements to maximize attendee participation.
• Monitor virtual event performance, gather feedback through surveys, and provide reports on key metrics such as attendance, engagement, and satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time during events to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
