Job summary

Optimal Maintenance Limited in Remote South Africa is seeking an experienced Estimator / Surveyor to prepare detailed quotations for works, assess project specifications, and gather pricing from suppliers.

You will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure competitive costs, attend site visits, and drive profitability, with a KPI-driven environment and a focus on timely, accurate proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or refurbishment projects, preferably in estimator roles.
• Strong understanding of quoting and project delivery workflows.
• Able to manage project costs and drive revenue.
• Clear written and spoken communication with clients and suppliers.
• Excellent organisational skills with multiple quotes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Quote and estimate projects to provide detailed, itemised quotations.
• Attend site visits for quote scoping.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost competitiveness.
• Schedule quotations in CRM and manage orders to engineers.
