Job summary

Herotel Telecoms is seeking a Remote Quantity Surveyor to manage construction costs for projects in Richards Bay. You will prepare cost estimates, administer contracts, and monitor expenditures while coordinating with managers and clients remotely.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, SACQSP registration, and at least 6 years of experience with JBCC/FIDIC contracts and measurement software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• SACQSP registration or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Administer construction contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditures and cash flow to keep within budget.
• Conduct site visits (virtually or in person) to verify quantities for payments.
