Placements24 is seeking a Data Scientist focused on Energy Analytics to join a fully remote team. You will leverage advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining to extract insights from oil and gas data and drive data-informed decisions.

You will work with engineers and geoscientists, build scalable models, create dashboards, and stay ahead of industry trends through continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience with analytical projects in data science.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R and libraries.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop) and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive maintenance, production optimization, and anomaly detection.
• Analyze large, complex datasets from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with domain experts to define data requirements and interpret findings.
