Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and insightful Remote Energy Data Analyst to join our analytics team. You will collect, process, and analyze large datasets on energy consumption, generation, and market trends to inform strategic decisions and optimize energy programs.

You will build models, dashboards, and BI reports, translate complex data into actionable insights, and collaborate with engineering and operations to drive data-driven initiatives in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of data analysis experience, preferably in energy.
• Proficiency with Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation.
• Experience creating dashboards in Tableau/Power BI.
• Strong grounding in statistics and basic ML concepts.
• Excellent communication and remote-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from energy sources and systems.
• Develop data models and analytical frameworks to derive insights.
• Analyze energy consumption, generation efficiency, and market price trends.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost savings or performance gains.
