Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst to join a remote team focused on energy markets. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets on energy production, consumption, and pricing to deliver actionable insights.

In this role, you will build dashboards, develop predictive models, forecast market movements, and support strategic decisions. A strong background in statistics and econometrics, with Python/R/SQL and visualization tools, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years as a Data Analyst, with energy or financial markets focus.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboards and visualization.
• Strong statistical modeling and econometrics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and clean large datasets from energy market sources.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies in energy data.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and market insights.
