Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Data Scientist to join our energy analytics team. You will analyze large energy datasets, build models to predict trends, and optimize distribution and consumption from a fully remote setup.

You will communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio of analytical projects.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow.
• Proficiency with SQL and large databases/data warehousing experience.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, ML techniques, and experimental design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement statistical models and ML algorithms to analyze energy datasets.
• Extract, clean, and transform complex data from various sources for analysis.
• Create data visualizations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
