This role emphasizes collaboration with hardware engineers and system architects in a fully remote setting. The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and familiarity with automotive development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Embedded software development experience, preferably automotive.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall and Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive control units and vehicle systems.
• Implement software according to automotive standards (AUTOSAR, MISRA C/C++).
• Collaborate with system engineers to define software requirements and architecture for new features.
• Integrate software components and ensure ECU communications.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in development and validation.
• Contribute to software development processes and tools.
• Participate in requirements analysis and system design.
