Placements24 is partnering with a rapidly expanding online retailer to hire a Remote E-commerce Specialist. The role focuses on optimizing the online storefronts, driving traffic, improving the customer journey, and increasing sales from home office based anywhere in South Africa.

You will develop and execute e-commerce initiatives, manage product listings on Shopify/WooCommerce, analyze web analytics, and collaborate with marketing and IT to deliver a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly expanding online retailer seeking a skilled and proactive Remote E-commerce Specialist to join their fully remote team, based ideally out of Cape Town, Western Cape , but operating entirely from a home office. This pivotal role will be instrumental in optimizing our online presence, driving traffic to our digital storefronts, and enhancing the overall customer journey. You will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of e-commerce initiatives aimed at increasing sales, improving conversion rates, and building a strong online brand identity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital native with a proven ability to manage complex online platforms and drive measurable results in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and customer acquisition.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and reporting.
