Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote E-commerce Operations Coordinator to oversee order processing, inventory, and fulfillment across online channels. The role is fully remote and allows you to contribute from anywhere in South Africa.

You will coordinate with shipping partners, resolve operational issues, and collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service to optimize performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of order fulfillment, shipping processes, and inventory management systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and relevant operational software.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly in a remote setting.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end e-commerce order fulfillment process, from placement to delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage inventory levels across online channels, ensuring accuracy and preventing stockouts.
• Handle customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, providing timely resolutions.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth e-commerce operations.
