Placements24 is seeking a Remote Retail E-commerce Specialist to lead online store optimization, traffic generation, and conversion improvements from anywhere in South Africa. You will collaborate with marketing, sales and customer service to deliver a seamless brand experience and measurable revenue growth.

The role requires 3+ years in e-commerce or digital marketing, strong platform and analytics skills, and a proactive, autonomous work style suitable for a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in e-commerce management or related digital marketing role.
• Experience with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
• Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce website for optimal UX and product presentation.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social, email) to drive traffic and sales.
• Analyze performance data, sales trends, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and CRO improvements.
• Optimize product listings, descriptions, and imagery for search visibility and conversions.
• Oversee online order fulfillment with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strategize to enhance customer engagement and loyalty via online channels.
