Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Retail E-commerce Specialist to manage and grow online sales channels. This fully remote role focuses on optimizing the e-commerce platform, executing online marketing campaigns, and enhancing the digital customer experience from a Sandton-based perspective, while working remotely.

You will manage product listings, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with vendors to drive traffic, conversions, and customer satisfaction across online channels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in e-commerce or online retail roles.
• Knowledge of Shopify/Magento platforms and analytics tools.
• Strong SEO/SEM, email marketing and social media strategy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• CMS proficiency and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's e-commerce website, including product catalog updates and content management.
• Develop and implement online marketing strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
• Analyze website performance, sales data, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for website development and digital marketing.
• Monitor industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
