Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to efficiently schedule and route a delivery fleet. This fully remote role focuses on maximizing time and cost efficiency while ensuring seamless execution and real-time issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch operations and logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and route optimization tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch of drivers, assign routes and balance load.
• Plan and optimize delivery schedules using routing software.
• Monitor driver progress in real time and adjust for delays.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers and resolve queries promptly.
• Coordinate with warehouse and customer service for seamless logistics.
• Track delivery performance against KPIs and identify improvements.
• Maintain records of dispatches and driver activities.
• Handle exceptions and re-route as needed to ensure timely service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and driving hours.
