Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch Coordinator to manage fleet operations from a home office. You will assign loads, optimize routes, monitor progress, and communicate with drivers, customers, sales teams, and warehouse staff to keep deliveries on schedule.

This fully remote role requires multitasking under pressure, strong knowledge of transportation logistics, and the ability to work independently with a reliable home setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related transportation role.
• Strong understanding of fleet management principles and transportation logistics.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills; able to stay calm under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with drivers and teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time-management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign and dispatch loads to drivers based on location, capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Optimize delivery routes to minimize transit times and fuel use.
• Monitor real-time location of dispatched vehicles using GPS tracking.
• Communicate updates with drivers and address disruptions.
• Coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules with customers and warehouse teams.
• Maintain records of dispatch activities and driver performance.
• Respond to and resolve any logistical issues or emergencies that arise during operations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Generate reports on dispatch operations and efficiency metrics.
• Utilize dispatch software and other communication tools to manage movements.
