Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch Coordinator to manage nationwide logistics from a home office. You will coordinate drivers, track shipments, and optimize schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires proactive planning, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication to keep operations smooth and customers informed. You’ll use dispatch software and GPS tracking tools, communicate clearly with drivers and clients, and solve issues quickly

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dispatcher, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other logistics technology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of vehicles and drivers for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
• Monitor real-time location and status of shipments using tracking software.
• Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support.
• Respond to logistical issues or emergencies with solutions.
• Manage dispatch logs, delivery records, and scheduling systems accurately.
• Liaise with clients, warehouses, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Optimize routes and delivery schedules to improve efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding shipment status and delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
